In the last six months, WAHL has successfully handled three cases before the Croatian Competition Agency (AZTN). In retrospect, it sounds great, though at times it was exhausting and demanded significant team involvement; so big thanks to Dea Krstulović, Andrea Smolić, Kristina Rudec, Stjepan Gvozdić, Ivan Jelic, Marko Kapetanovic, Ivan Luetić and Mislav Bradvica.

The latest victory is particularly special to us. We worked closely with our client – Zagreb plakat, providing a series of economically sound arguments that led to a clear outcome from the start. In this complex case, AZTN accepted our argument that advertising on public spaces and properties owned by the City of Zagreb is interchangeable with advertising on private spaces and properties. As a result, the outdoor advertising market should not be segmented into public and private spaces but considered as part of the same market. This thesis was further confirmed by market research.

This is a significant win not only for Zagreb plakat but also for transparency and fair competition in the outdoor advertising market in Zagreb. Special thanks to Toni Rončević and Emilio Gašpić for their trust, great support, and expertise throughout the process.
