Mislav Bradvica, Kristina Rudec, and Marko Kapetanović Lead a Workshop on Unfair Trading Practices
In collaboration with the Croatian Chamber of Economy and ICC Croatia, WAHL’s Mislav Bradvica, Kristina Rudec, and Marko Kapetanović led a workshop dedicated to addressing the pressing issue of unfair trading practices in the food supply chain. The workshop, held in July, aimed to highlight potential risks in everyday business operations and assist participants in navigating these challenges effectively.
Kristina Rudec, a lawyer at WAHL, emphasized that contracts are now more standardized, clearly defining the rights and obligations of buyers and suppliers. She also noted the importance of regular employee training on the behaviors required during negotiations and contract execution.
The session, which covered prohibited trading practices and methods for detecting such actions, was part of a series of workshops organized by ICC Croatia and the Croatian Chamber of Economy. The workshop was expertly conducted by legal experts in competition law and compliance, including Dunja Šimunić Mehdin, along with the WAHL team.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Croatian Chamber of Economy and ICC Croatia for providing this platform for open discussion with entrepreneurs. Special thanks also go to Dunja Šimunić Mehdin, Maja Bogović, and Ana Marguerite Tomulić for their excellent organization. We look forward to continuing these valuable sessions after the summer break, with the next workshop scheduled for September, focusing on GDPR compliance.
