Karlo Ivšić joined our firm in 2024 after earning his law degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb. During his studies, he served as a demonstrator at the Chair of General History of Law and State and completed an internship at a prestigious law firm in Rijeka, gaining practical experience in legal proceedings. Karlo furthered his academic development through a six-month exchange program at Lund University in Sweden, specializing in European Union business law. His research focused on the legal requirements for establishing business operations within the EU, with particular emphasis on the enforcement of EU law.

His understanding of the interplay between EU and national legal frameworks provided valuable insight for his master's thesis, which examined the protection of shareholders and creditors in bank bail-ins, highlighting the EU's regulatory framework. Karlo’s expertise encompasses EU & Competition, Banking & Finance, Capital Markets, Fund Industry & Compliance.

Known for his enthusiasm, meticulous research and strong communication skills, Karlo is a valuable addition to the WAHL team.
