23. travnja 2022. na snagu je stupio novi Zakon o zaštiti prijavitelja nepravilnosti kojim se u hrvatski pravni sustav implementira Direktiva (EU) 2019/1937, takozvana "Whistleblowing Directive". Kao što sam naziv upućuje, cilj Zakona je stvaranje preduvjeta kojima se kroz pojačanu zaštitu "zviždača" potiče prijavljivanje nepravilnosti. Glavnu ulogu u tom zadatku su dobili poslodavci, kojima se nameće niz novih i opsežnih obveza u pogledu uspostave te strukture internih sustava prijavljivanja nepravilnosti. Kako se provedbeni rokovi ubrzano bliže, svaki bi poslodavac trebao bez odgode detaljno analizirati svoje unutarnje procese, provesti potrebne prilagodbe te uskladiti svoje poslovanje sa Zakonom.
